JAN PERDULAK
Innovation Manager . Software Developer
About Me
Hi, my name is Jan Perduľák. Welcome to my personal website. If you are here, it means you have nothing better to do . Never mind! I’m glad to see you. Feel at home here and feel free to read something about me You will be surprised, and do not forget “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity and I’m not sure about the universe.” (Albert Einstein)
Bosch and Siemens Home Appliance
In origin language Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte. I have been working for this company since 2015. I started as a software developer of embedded systems. I programmed these systems in C language. Since 2019 I have been working as Technology Innovation Manager. This position gives me opportunity to work with great team consists with interesting people. Also I have opportunity to touch the new technologies, lead and work on progressive projects.
Technical University in Kosice
From 2014 to 2015 I worked as a Assistant professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engeneering and Informatics of Technical University in Košice. I worked at the Department of Theoretical and Industrial Electrotechnic.
Science and Research
The field of my research were converters for renewable energy resources. Nowadays it is very actual theme because there are insufficient resources of conventional sources of energy. The new topology of DC/DC converters, especially boost converters, have been developed and tested.
Patents related with my work
Patent no.288628 – Connection of N-levels half-bridge inverter with three levels output and serial switches. International Patent Classification – H02M 7/46 H02M 1/08.
Patent no.288618 – Connection of N-levels half-bridge inverter with three levels output and parallel switches. International Patent Classification – H02M 7/00.
Patent no.288331 – Pulse generator for multiphase boost converter. International Patent Classification – H02M 1/08 H02M 1/084.
Patent no.288279 – Analogue pulse generator for multiphase step-up DC/DC converter. International Patent Classification – H02M 3/02.
Project
Research grant no. 041/13_RT – Quick charger based on routed wireless energy transfer for electromobiles – supported by Volkswagen Slovakia Foundation.
Teaching
Teaching was one of my duties. I taught Theory of Electrical Engineering and Power Electronics. Theory of Electrical Engineering is mainly about the basic electrical lows, like Apere’s low and Kirghchof’s lows and application of these lows into the practice. Power electronics is about the basic principles of various types of converters and the power devices – how they look and work.

Nature
Being in nature brings me a lot of benefits. Exposure to nature not only makes me feel better emotionally, it contributes to my physical and mental well-being. For example, doing things like exercising outdoors or being around animals can have lot of positive effects like improve your mood, reduce stress and anger. Here in Slovakia we have very beautifull and diverse nature. Between one of our most famous national jewelries belongs National Park of Tatras (TANAP) and Slovak Paradise National Park.

That is what makes the traveling and exploring very interesting and exciting. Meet new people, find new friends, know new culture and habits. That is what makes us more human and tolerant to each other
and what we need more than ever before . Here are few tips for places to visit in my country in Slovakia
